Salix 'Boydii'

Common Name: 'Willow Boydii'

A choice, very slow growing upright deciduous shrub. It has gnarled branches bearing rounded, rough-textured, veined, grey-green leaves, and sometimes, insignificant, grey female catkins on bare branches in early spring. It will reach a height of 75-90cm and a spread of 50-60cm in 5-10 years.

Care Instructions

Best planted in moderately fertile acid or neutral soil in full sun or partial shade. A lovely plant for a trough or scree.
