Miscanthus sinensis 'Flamingo'

Common Name: 'Eulalia'

AGM. A clump-forming deciduous grass. A good, robust variety with fluffy, silver-pink inflorescences, which droop elegantly and broad green foliage, with a white midrib, which grows vertically then arches over elegantly. The leaves turn a pale biscuit colour over winter. Sep-Oct. H150cm S60cm.

Care Instructions

Grow in any moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun, but dislikes excessive winter wet. Like all Miscanthus, clumps will benefit from being cut back hard in the spring to encourage new growth.
